Updated: Webclip icon to fit perfectly
The one above is 57 x 57, which fixes the problem of the icon looking slightly out-of place on the homescreen

Adding the New Webclip icon to Your HOMESCREEN
This Post teaches you how to add the new webclip icon for this blog to your iPhone/iPod Touch's Homescreen
2. Now, follow the instructions on that site to add the bookmarklet to your bookmarks in your browser;
3. Sync the bookmarks from your computer to your iPhone/iPod Touch using iTunes:
4. Now, on your iPhone/iPod Touch, open safari and go to www.fun2surf.blogspot.com
5. Once there go to your bookmarks and select the bookmarklet that we have just added, this will bring up a pop-up where you will enter this URL to obtain the image above as your homescreen: http://i31.tinypic.com/a1sklg.png
6. With this done, now go back to your homescreen, where you will see the custom webclip for this blog!!

A Quick Post!
Hey all!!!
It's been a while, but with the exams and all, there just wasn't time! They'll be over by next Monday!!
Just dropping by, thought I'd have the time for a quick post!!
This week wasn't really the best, but I think I'll do well for all the papers that I've taken till now. By the way, I know I'm breaking my rule of not speaking about studies here, but..........
Hmmmm......... Was surfing the net sometime back, and I found a music site that I love!

gotta love it! Search for music, videos, lyrics, make multiple custom playlists just by dragging and dropping the songs, you can save the playlists to listen to when you visit the next time! Of course, you need to sign up, but its FREE!

Last Post Before Holidays! iPhone, iPod Touch
Hey everyone!! I'm back, but most likely this will be my last post till may. This is coz of those 'slave driving teachers' who set those horrible exams for young innocent children, expecting the children to weep at the first sight of a horrible calculus problem!! -,-"
I know what your all thinking; What is this guy crapping about? I though the only thing on his mind was GH!!! #@!t(^%&
Well I have my mid-term exams and so i'll be taking a break for a while, but this dosen't mean that you stop visiting!! I'll be very upset if you do!
Well then, here we are:

its awesome, the iphone looks just like a nice streamlined iPod touch with a calling function and a black colored back
which should fit perfectly in your pocket. Man! And I'm still waiting for a normal colored iPhone!
Second, in the iPhone, iPod touch software scene, we have alot of new developments, mainly the 2.0 beta firmware and the newestrage which is
PWNED (Yes you heard(read) me correct, PWNED). Here:
- The 2.0 beta for iPod Touch and iPhone has been leaked, and is easily available on major torrent sites (don't ask why or how i know this ok?). However.......... to instal this firmware, there is a need some kind of activation(i guess, I'm not sure whats the real term). But, not to worry, hope is here, and as the saying goes; when god give, he gives in bulk. This takes us to the 2nd development
- PWNAGE!!!! This is the tool developed which bypasses the 'activation' required to run the 2.0 beta firmware!!! Thanks to the iPhone Dev Team, mainly bgm, pumpkin, turbo, wizdaz, asap and roxfan. Pwnage is currently only available for the mac, but a version for windows, called winpwn, will be released in the next few hours!

WOW!! Pwnage actually unlocks your iPhone or iPod Touch in such a way that even if you upgrade your firmware, the unlock/jailbreak/activation will remain

Guitar Hero III
Well, this topic is not fully covered on the net..........
Many of you would have received Guitar Hero 3 PC as a Christmas/New Year/CNY/Birthday/Random gift. The point here is that you were too excited and ripped of the wrapping. You took out the CD in absolute ecstasy. You then proceeded to insert it into your laptop/desktops DVD 4x drive. The rest went on smoothly, you installed it and then plugged in the supplied guitar(if you bought it) or not(if you dled it).
After the above, you went on to click the icon on your desktop. Alas, an error message pops up, something like this:
It took you a full minute, before you unleashed your anger and started cursing your stupid laptop/desktop for not meetin the graphic card requirement!!! Then you slapped yourself for buying/asking for the game, realising that you just wasted $150 on a game that your PC does not support.
Fortunately, you can be saved from the boos and jeers and the shame that you dread now that school is on tomorrow. You would become a social outcast. I have the solution to all your problems: 3D Analyser:
"3D Analyzer is a program to analyze and to yeild the performance of a 3D card, and to improve your performance yield in 3D games of a notable form." - some website on earth
These are the steps you need to follow, as I did to get Guitar Hero III up and running on my LG F1 express dual, with a 2.5 gb ram, an Intel GMA945 Graphics Driver and a centrino duo processor working at 1.73Ghz.:
1. Prepare for the following steps: Download the following:
3D Analyser V 2.36 (http://www.falconfly.de/downloads/3danalyzer-v236.zip)
GH3 Boost (http://www.2shared.com/file/2684330/fc57fc1f/GH3Boost.html)
2. Now, lets get to business. First, install and run 3DA.
3. Click select and navigate to your guitar hero exe file(not the shortcut) (C:/program files/Aspyr/Guitar Hero3/GH3.exe
4. In your 3DA, tick and change your driver settings to the ones shown below in the picture:
Incase you can't see the options clearly, here they are:
Force SW TnL
Counters
Disable Lighting
Force low precision pixel shader
Emulate HW TnL caps
Emulate other DX8.1 caps
NVIDIA GeForceFX 5900 Ultra - Vendor ID; 4318 Device ID; 816
5. Once that's done, you can click run, and GH3 should work. ^_^
6. In Guitar Hero, go to options, and set everything to the lowest possible quality. Now you can play GH3.
*7. Some people on other sites have complained that when they used this method, GH3 would work, but when a song is selected, it goes to the loading screen and crashes. This occured on my laptop, but the GH3 Boost which I made you download is the solution.
Open 3DA, and select the folder in which your gh3 boost is stored. Select totalboost.bat
Warning: this file assumes that you have GH3 installed in C:\Program Files\Aspyr\Guitar Hero III
Now click run. A screen should open up.
Once the process is finished, select your gh3.exe file once again and run it. There should be no problem this time. However, there is a price to pay, and that is that you will not have any animations while playing a song, instead, a black background. :(
But, if you really concentrate on the song, you should not need the animations, which only serve to distract you.
If you want to revert back to the original (With anims) open the gh3 boost folder again and select the restore.bat file.
